PRIEUR, Wellington Joel, of Flint, age 59, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. Final interment services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Rev. Carl Petty officiating. Joel was born in Flint, August 12, 1956. He loved family gatherings and was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and uncle. Surviving are: wife, Christine Prieur; sons, Phillip Prieur and Robby; mother, June (Leo) Veliet; brothers, Dan A. (Laurel)Prieur, Steve, Blaine, Barney, Andre, and Donnie; sister, Kathleen (Randy) Nelson and Beth; nieces and nephews, Pietra Prieur, Daniel Prieur, Andrea Prieur, Jacob Prieur, Adam Wambold, Tony Stornello, and Sarah Harris; great nephew, Eli WIliams; great nieces, Lillyona Nance, and Gracelyn Nance. He was preceded in death by his father, August Prieur. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a family memorial fund c/o Christine Prieur.
