MARTIN, Tony Duane, formerly of Flint,  age 59,  passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, in Hastings, Nebraska.  Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m.  Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Plumb Smith Funeral Home,  1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a family memorial fund.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

Tony was born on August 4, 1958, in Yale, Michigan, the son of  Stan & Barb (Nelson) Martin. He loved his family and his granddaughter who was the apple of his eye. Tony also loved to research history and genealogy, was a gun enthusiast, and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Tony worked in the Flint area as a DJ and bouncer at the former Plush Hobo and Lamp Lighter Lounges.   He worked at several other local establishments and was well liked in the community.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Martin of Hastings, Nebraska; sons and spouse, Jeremy & April Martin, Nick Martin and Taylor Bosier of Haltom City, Texas; granddaughter, Allie Martin of Haltom City, Texas; parents, Stan & Barb Martin of Flint; sister and spouse, Eva & Chris Karas of Burton, Michigan; mother-in-law, Judy Bosier; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob & Barb Heinz, Keith & Lori Derr, and Tammy McGinnis; many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
