JELINEK, Terry Alan - 69, of Fenton passed away September 22, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be 3-7 PM Friday, September 25 and 1-8 PM Saturday, September 26 with a celebration of life service, beginning at 7:00 PM, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street. Linden.

Terry was born December 13, 1950 in Flint,  the son of Murl and Kathleen (DeShano) Jelinek. He married Bernadine Loretta Owens,  January 20, 1969. They stood side by side through 51 years of good and bad times. He made sure that everyone knew his family came first. His favorite thing in life was being with his sons and grandchildren. Terry's heart was always full of love and laughter. He was an amazing father who made sure he taught his children to always put family first. He loved golfing, watching sports ("Go Blue"), going to trout camp and the times he spent on Black Lake with his father and friends fishing for  monster pike. He was always able to make anyone smile with his contagious laugh and he will never be forgotten by those close to him.

Terry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bernadine Loretta Jelinek; three sons, Terry Joseph Jelinek, Thomas Bernard Jelinek, and Anthony Michael Jelinek; grandchildren are Amanda, Jace, Dakota, Gavin, Hayden, Jade, Landon, Katie, Nevaeh, Olivia and Raven. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Amara, and Sebastian. Terry has joined his grandson, Tyler Allen Jelinek, in heaven.
