BURTON, Terry Lee "Flint Journal," of Burton, age 60, died Thursday, January 8, 2026 at his residence.  Mr. Burton will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 1:00-5:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2026.  Cremation will follow.

Terry was born in Flint, April 15, 1965.  He was employed as a cook at area restaurants.

Surviving are:  children, Trista (Chris) Peterson, Jacob, Josh, and Daniellah; siblings, Donnie (Tina) Burton, Carol (Randy) Clayton, Sherry Wines, Barb (Mick) Wines, and Shirley (Derek) Miller; many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; special friends Joe and Penny, Scott Miller, and many others; and his beloved cat Hobo.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, his father, L. W., sisters, Janis, and Janie, and brother, Joe.
