KINGSBURY, Sylvia Margaret, of Linden, age 79, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Eugene Byers officiating.  Private burial will be later at Gracelawn Cemetery.  Mrs. Kingsbury will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may call 10:00 AM until the time of services Tuesday.  Sylvia was born September 5, 1940 in Mount Morris.  She had lived in Linden the last 45 years.  Surviving are:  husband, Laverne D. Kingsbury, Sr.; 7 children, Carl (Sue) Nixon of Otter Lake, Theresa (Mark) Rowley of Flushing, Mike (Joyce) Nixon of Linden, Cecil (Christina) Kingsbury of Kentucky, Tricia (Larry) Brown of FLorida, Paul Kingsbury of Linden, and Ann Kingsbury of Flint; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brother, Michael (Allison) Borha of Grand Blanc, and Joseph (Paula) Shippritt of Burton; sister, Gladys Shannon of Florida;  She is preceded in death by daughter Jill Burgess, son Laverne Kingsbury, Jr., and brother Dale Borha.
