WALDING, Susan Lee, of Flint Township, age 77, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 at home.  Cremation has taken place.  Final interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Susan was born in Flint, Michigan, January 6, 1945, the daughter of James Edward and Patricia Rae (Herbst) Walding.  She grew up in Flint and lived more than 40 years in Troy.  She retired from Dupont Corporation after 42 years service.  Susan had traveled across the globe and enjoyed that travel very much.  She loved to read, bowl, golf, go to the movies, attend concerts, and she loved her pets dearly.  Surviving are:  sister, Cheryl R. Walding; niece, Danielle L. Derengowski; sister-in-law, Carol Walding; lifelong friends, Karen Berdan, Cyndi Delano, and Candy Thomas.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia R. Walding, father James E. Walding, brother James Terry Walding; and friends, Joanne Brandt, Mary Lou Odom, and Sonda Stanstedt.  Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society.
