CHRISTENSEN, Stephen F., of Clio, age 70, went to be with the The Lord Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at McLaren Bay Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. Christensen will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday. Stephen was born in Lakeview, Michigan, August 25, 1945. He retired from General Motors after 28 years service. He was an avid antique collector. Stephen was also a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by: his daughter, Latonya Christensen; grandchildren, Marie Christensen and Stephen Christensen; 2 great grandchildren; brother, James Christensen; sister, Monica Smith; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Christensen, father L. T. Christensen, brother Kenneth Christensen, and sister Mildred Davidson.
