BOATWRIGHT, Sherrill Yvonne (Coker), of Flushing, age 83, died Thursday, July 1, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, and 9:00 AM until the time-of-service Wednesday.  Sherrill was born July 8, 1937 in Fort Mills, SC.  Sherrill married Bobbie Joe Boatwright in 1953 in South Carolina, he preceded her in death in 1975. She worked at the Flint V-8 Engine plant until her retirement in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by her children: Bobbie Dunn and Gene Boatwright of Milan IN, 7 Grandchildren: Ryan (Kristen) Boatwright, Shannon Boatwright and (Shawn Dawson), Aaron Boatwright, Nicole Boatwright and (Matthew Sunday), Tara (Todd) Hofacker, Amber Smyth, and Samantha Boatwright and (Chris Brockreide). 17 Great Grandchildren and her sister Barbara Still. Sherrill was preceded in death by 3 infant children Scotty, David and Terri Lynn and daughter Kimberly Duckworth, and her sister Diane Rhinehardt.
