VOELKER, Shannon Nelson, of Flint, age 48, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose Nettell officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Shannon will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 10:00 AM until the time of services Monday.  He was born in Flint, January 29, 1972.  He loved hunting and fishing and Harley's.  He will be missed by many.  Shannon is survived by his wife, Jamie Suchodolski-Voelker; two children, Hunter and Tori Voelker; brother, P. J. Bailey; and sister, Kelly Voelker-Verbeek; many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  He is preceded in death by his father Gary Voelker, mother Brenda Bailey, and little sister Jamie Bailey-Cook.
