Scott Andy
Penrod
Feb 16, 1968 — Apr 18, 2024
Flint
PENROD, Scott Andy, of Flint, age 56, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at home. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Scott was born February 16, 1968 in Flint, the son of John and Carol (Smithingell) Penrod. He attended Genesee Schools where he made very many lifelong friends. Throughout life, Scotty had many occupations, but was infamously known as a very helpful handyman. His granddaughters were his world, and he was very proud to be their "Papa." He let everyone know that every chance he got. Scott was everyone's buddy. He was a most loyal friend to many people. Scott's bike was his peace, and all of his biker brothers will miss him very much as there were many great times shared. He was so special that he made new friends wherever he went. He just exuded fun. He was also his sister Pam's keeper and vice versa. Their bond was very special after the loss of their beloved brother, John. When Scott wasn't on his bike, you could find him on his bike, with his friends, or at his prized "Pumpkin Patch" cabin. Adventuring around with his granddaughter in Marion, he met his "Up North Bestie" Ted, who would go on to show him all the best fishing spots and secret beaches.
Scott is survived by his daughters, Valerie and Marissa; granddaughters, KayLynn, Karley, and Scarlett; mother and step-father, Carol and Jerry Crossnoe; sister, Pamela; and special nephews, Robert, Joshua, and Travis.
He was preceded in death by his father John Penrod, sister Michelle, brother John, and Nephew Dustin Montague.
