BOWEN, Scott Robert, of Flint, age 39, died Friday, November 8, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, November 23, 2019 at Assembly of God, 305 New Street, Clio, Michigan, Pastor Garrett Starr officiating.  A memorial luncheon will follow at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a  memorial fund in care of Shirley Thompson-BOwen, 1098 Lorene Avenue, Mount Morris, Michigan  48458.  Scott was born in Flint, February 6, 1980.  Surviving are: son, Gavin; daughter, MacKenzie both of Mount Morris; a newborn granddaughter; father John L. (Judith) Bowen of Flint; mother, Marlene Scott of Oklahoma; grandfather, John C. (Shirley Thompson-Bowen) Bowen; 2 brothers, Jeff (Karrie) Bowen and Johnny (Jennifer) Bowen; 2 sisters, Judy Bowen and Cindy Parkin, all of Flint;  aunt, Diane Donaijkoeski; uncle, Dennis Bowen; several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ernestine Bowen, and cousin, Jamie Daniels.
