ROUSSEAU, Sarah Nicole, of Flint, age 30, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Chaplain Jerry Larkin officiating. Cremation will follow. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until the time of service Sunday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township. Sarah was born January 28, 1987 in Daytona Beach, Florida, the daughter of Julie Mae (Collins) Rousseau and John Joseph Rousseau. Sarah was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many. She graduated from Atlantic High School, Port Orange, Florida. Sarah worked at Halifax Hospital in Florida as an emergency room technician early in her life and more recently worked as a server in fine dining restaurants in Michigan. Sarah was a vibrant beautiful young mother who was artistic and creative. She loved to draw sketches, sing, take pictures, do arts and crafts and make jewelry. Most important to Sarah was the time she spent with her young daughter, her mom and her family. Surviving are: daughter, Zoey Rose Rousseau of Linden; mother, Julie Rousseau of Burt; father, John Rousseau of Port Orange, Florida; sister, Makella (Richard) McAdams of Linden; nephews, Caden and Ashten McAdams of Linden; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Judith Harvey and her Grandfather George Rousseau Sr.
