SMITH, Rosemarie Katherine, "Rosie," of Flint Township, age 49, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Rosie will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM until the time of service Friday.  She was born February 12, 1973 in Flint and graduated from Genesee High School in 1991.  Rosie lived in Flint area her entire life.  She spent most of her life working in healthcare, and for the last several years had been associated with the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home.

Surviving are:  spouse, Paul K. Buchler; 3 sons, Devin Smith, Darin (Felicia) Smith, and Aiden Buchler; 2 daughters, Raven Cooper, and Shawnna Biel.  5 grandchildren, Elijah, Emery, Grayson, Liliyana, and Darin Jr.; sisters, Karen Jo (Mike) Allinger, Stacey Dale (Ronald) Sedgewick, and Kelley Kay (Gary) Maxey; brother-in-law Noel Kester; sister-in-law Dawn Crossnoe; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Crossnoe, her father Robert Coote,  brothers James Crossnoe and Robert Coote, and sister Dorothy Bell Kester.
