PELLAND, Robert James, of Flint, age 31, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. George Warson officiating. Cremation will follow. Mr. Pelland will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call from 1-8 P.M. Thursday and from 1-3 P.M. Friday. Robert was born in Flint, August 30, 1985, the son of Ronald James and Tina Marie (Dean) Pelland. Surviving are: father, Ronald Pelland of Flint; mother, Tina (Chip Goss) Pelland of Hendersonville, North Carolina; sister, Victoria Ann (David) Wilkie of Hendersonville, North Carolina; daughter, Nataiya Vallier and her mother Ashley Vallier of Flint; grandfather, Jimmy (Nancy) Dean of Kokomo, Indiana; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Reuben and Helmi Pelland, grandmother, Patricia Dean, and uncle, Keith Dean.
