SMITH, Rebecca Lynn, of Flint Township, age 57, died Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by family.  Cremation has taken place.  A private memorial service will be held December 20, 2024 at Fisherman's Cove Clubhouse, 4441 Jena Lane, Flint, Michigan 48507.
Becky was born September 4, 1967, the daughter of James and Shirley (McKee) Smith.  Becky worked for many years at local 7-Elevens and managed the Bristol Rd location.  She was an avid member of the Burton Eagles Arie 3814, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and singing karaoke.  Each summer she helped run the Michigan Eagles State Horseshoe Tournament.  Becky loved coloring, and doing arts and crafts.
Rebecca is survived by her mother Shirley; children, Brandon Vorhies and Ashton Carpenter-Smith; brother, Eric (Kelly) Smith, nephew, Devon (Ashley) Smith; great nephews, Paxton and Ayden; best friend Richard and many other friends. She is preceded in death by her father, James, and sister, Nichole.
