VLIET, Raymond M., Sr., of Flint Township, age 81, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Heritage Manor. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home. Private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. Vliet will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 10AM until the time of services Saturday. Raymond was born in Flint, September 3, 1934. Surviving are: 3 children, Raymond Vliet, Jr. and Michael L. (Irma) Vliet, both of Flint, and Barbara Jean (Bruce) Tomlinson of Mt. Morris; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Leo Vliet of Bay City; sister, Mildred Schnetzler of Franklin, North Carolina.
