NEWMAN, Randall Lee, of Flint, age 71, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2026 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Josh Corbin officiating. Cremation will follow. Mr. Newman will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may call 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday.

Randy was born in Grants Pass, Oregon February 5, 1955, the son of Richard and Marjory (Lee) Newman. He worked as an automotive detailer. Mr. Newman attended North Flushing Baptist Church for 50 years. Randy loved everyone.

Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Margaret (Stevens) Newman; 4 sons, Randall Newman II of Saginaw, Wayne Newman of Flint, Dale and wife Mellissa Newman of Athens, Tennessee, and Christopher Newman of Flint; and 8 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Richard Newman, mother Marjory Newman-Penney, stepfather Donald Pinney, brother Scott Newman, and granddaughter Tracy Newman.
