McGaffigan, Patricia Ann, of Flint, age 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 24, 2018. Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Final interment will be at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday. In leiu of flowers contributions may be made to a family memorial fund.  Patricia was born October 14, 1938 in Welland, Ontario.  She was a 1957 graduate of Flint Central High School.  Patricia married Patrick McGaffigan, October 8, 1960.  She was a member of St. John Vianney Church and enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She also loved painting and traveling with her husband.  For the last five years she had been a resident of the Woodhaven Senior Community.  Surviving are:  son and daughter-in-law, David and Janel McGaffigan of Manistee, Michigan; grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Jessica, and Clarissa; great grandchildren, Zachary and Nathan; sister, Constance (Carl) Burden of Sarnia Ontario.  Preceding her in death were her husband, Patrick; mother, Anna Cummings; sister, Caroline Mathers; and brother, Richard Sameck.  Special thanks to family friend, Jill Christopher, as well as Tiffany and her co-workers at Homestead.
