Martinez, Nelda E., age 71, of Flint, Michigan   died Tuesday June 4, 2024 at her home.  A Memorial mass will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Rd, Flint, Michigan 48505. Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made, to the family.

Born September 27, 1952, in Texas, the daughter of Jesus G and Ofelia (Escamilla) Aguilar.  Nelda retired from MTA where she worked as a bus driver.  She was very involved in her Church Our Lady of Guadalupe and was a former member of the Legion of Mary.

Surviving are: Sister Beva and husband Ken Bonar, Granddaughters, Anastasia and Reina Garza, brother-in-law Robert Hough, Nephews Paul and wife Lyndse Bonar, Steven Bonar, Nieces Carly and Isabella Hough and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Jesus "Jesse" Pedro Garza and sister Teresa Hough.
