Sep 8, 1992 — Mar 29, 2024
Flint
HORNE, Nathan James, of Flint, age 31, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024. Nathan was born and raised in Flint, Michigan along with his twin brother, Timothy Horne. Nathan went to Kearsley Community Schools for most of his life and transferred to Mott Middle College where he maintained honor roll and graduated in 2011 with a high school diploma and an associate degree. Nathan lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing any type of game, writing, music of all genres, but mostly he loved the outdoors and fishing. It was important to him to spend time with the people he loved. Nathan was loved and respected by everyone he encountered, regardless of the significance of the relationship. Nathan's greatest attribute was his kindness. He had a gift of making everyone feel special and important. He was effortlessly a good person, a great friend, and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone. Nathan was known for being a jokester and had a wonderful sense of humor. He appreciated food and cooking and took pride in sharing his delicious creations with his family.
Nathan is survived by his twin brother, Timothy G. Horne, and siblings, Joshua, Adam, and Lindsey Horne, along with many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his parents Timothy S. Horne and Louise Perkins. There will not be funeral services held for Nathan, but the family asks if anyone would like to make a contribution in memory of Nathan to donate to the Shiner's Hospital For Children Chicago.
