ROAT, MICHAEL DAVID "Roach," of Flint, Michigan, age 36, passed away unexpectedly November 9, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, Pastor Craig Dockery Officiating.  Michael will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home where family and friends may visit 10:00 AM until time of service Sunday.  Michael leaves behind his best friend and wife of 14 years Dustin (Lucas); four sons, Zackory, Joshua, Michael (Baby Michael) David II, and Jordan Michael David Roat; mother, Brenda (David) Pickett; sister, Cheyenne Pickett; brothers, Daniel Wright and David Pickett II.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Arthur Roat, father, Michael Eugene Roat, and son, Kaleb Jon "Cubby" Roat.

Michael loved being a dad and especially co-fathering with Lucas and he took pride in his Sons. He enjoyed being around family and friends and loved performing as a local rapper and the love for music.

He also loved being at the lake, boating, and fishing.  A special thanks to Flint Community Schools, Yahman Dennie and friends.  A Memorial Dinner will be held following the service.
