CONGDON, Michael Patrick, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 43, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in Las Vegas.  Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Fr. Georges Bidzogo officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of services Saturday.

Michael was born May 20, 1982 the son of Tracy & Jane (Koontz) Congdon, the youngest of 5 siblings. He was our "baby" brother. Michael's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.  He was smart, quick witted, and loved  his deep connection with his dad (pops) and his siblings. Despite his life-long struggle with addiction he still maintained many lifelong friendships and love and loyalty to his family.  He attended Swartz Creek Schools and worked in carpentry and construction specializing in vinyl siding.  He enjoyed softball and video gaming.

Michael was blessed  with his  son Jayden Michael Congdon in 2012, and he made the unselfish decision to place his baby boy with his sister Bridgett & her family. He still maintained a close bond with him and was proud to be his daddy!

Michael is survived by his son Jayden Congdon; mother, Jane Congdon; siblings, Teri (Tim) Henderson, Shawn (Sarah) Groves, Tracy (Sheila) Congdon, and Bridgett (Brian) Ives; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
