KELLY, Maureen Bridgetta, of Clio, age 84, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Bill Richardson officiating. Due to inclement weather burial will take place later at Old Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Kelly will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township, where friends may call 10AM until the time of service Thursday. Mrs. Kelly was born in Flint, October 24, 1931, the daughter of Patrick and Frances Murphy. She graduated from St. Matthew High School in 1950. Maureen retired from General Motors. She was of the Christian Faith. Mrs. Kelly is survived by six children, Stephen Kelly of Clio, Paula Kelly Hohenwald of Tennessee, Daniel Kelly of St Paul, Minnesota, Frances Manwaring Rockill of Rome, New York, Martha Manwaring of Bisbee, Arizona, and Joshua Manwaring of Arizona; 2 sisters, Patricia Murphy McVey and Margaret Murphy Becker.She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Leo Murphy, Bernard Murphy, and Patrick Murphy.
