WITZKA, Matthew Jon, of Flint, age 55, passed away peacefully January 20, 2025 at McLaren Flint Hospital

Matt was the son of Martha Witzka.  He grew up in Flint and graduated from Flint  Northern High School.  He worked as a cement finisher all his life. Matt was known for his hard work  and dedication to others, his kindness, and his laughter, and his love for his grandaugter Aria , Matt always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of before his own self , he touched people in so many ways and he made friends wherever he went , his smile was contagious and he could never take no for an answer .

Matt is survived by his sister Melissa Clement, son  Matthew Witzka, daughter in law Brenna a loving aunt Susan Witzka, loving cousin Kelly Witzka , 2 nieces  Nyia and Rae 2 nephews Matt Paul and Montae, a great nephew Madden,, a very special friend Matt Hanna and the most important person in his life his granddaughter Aria, as well as countless friends and extended family who cherished Matt's presence in their lives. Matt was proceeded in  death  by his mother Martha Witzka , his uncle Butch, his cousin Tony Witzka Chrissy Maxson, lifelong companion Denise Maxson, and grandma and grandpa Witzka.   Matt was very loved and will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.

A Celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM,  Saturday, February 1, 2025 Sharky's Sports Bar, 4050 S Center Road, Burton, Michigan.
