KOZIOL, Matthew, of Flint, age 54, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at University of Michigan Hospital.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  11:00 Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Thomas Firestone officiating.  Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Mr. Koziol will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 11 AM-8PM Friday.  Matthew was born  April 9, 1964 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Donald and Carol (Seeley) Koziol.  Surviving are:  father, Donald (Mary) Koziol of Flint; brother, Donald J. Koziol of Flint; step-siblings, Sheryl (Charles) Assencoa, Kami (Richard) McNeil, and Daniel (Anita) Collick; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Koziol, brother, Joseph Koziol, and sister, Gwyn Thornburg.
