HAMACHER, Mary Frances 6/21/1923 - 3/31/2017 Flint, MI HAMACHER, Mary Frances, of Flint, age 93, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at McLaren Regional Medical Center - Flint. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 706 Beach Street, Flint, Rev. Fr. James Managan officiating. Cremation will follow. Mrs. Hamacher will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 3-7 PM Wednesday. A Rosary will be held 6 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Church. Mary was born in Pontiac, June 21, 1923, the daughter of Frank and Mary Nelson. She and her late husband Lynn were well known in the community and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia, and to the North Pole. Surviving are: son, John Lynn Hamacher.
