GONYEA, Mary Lue Burton Age 71, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Interment will be 1:30 PM Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Mrs. Gonyea will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may visit 10AM-8PM Wednesday and Thursday. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions to Faith Ministries Church. Mary Lue was born in Flint, April 4, 1944, the daughter of Francis and Helen (Shields) Warner. Surviving are: husband, Joseph Gonyea, Sr.; 3 children, Sherolyn Giddings, Steven (Tonya) Dean, and Tammy (Telly) Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Vern) Barnaby; brother, William (Carol) Warner; several nieces and nephews, step children, and step grandchildren.
