NETTELL, Marion Olga, of Burton, age 86, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Calvary Community Church, 1201 W. 12th St., Pastors Fred Nettell and Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Nettell will lie in state at the Calvary Community Church where friends may call 3-8 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to Calvary Community Church. Marion was born in Houghton, Michigan, October 19, 1928. She married Frederick Nettell July 4, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1992. Marion retired from UAW Local 651 and AC Spark Plug. She was a longtime member of Calvary Community Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and being the "pastie dough" maker for all the church pastie sales. She touched many lives with her kindness and giving spirit. She will be sadly missed by many but is rejoicing now in heaven. Surviving are: 4 children, Frederick and wife Sarah of Burton, Candice of Flint, Robert of Flint, and Richard of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson.
