PRIEUR, Laurel Anne (Harris), of Burton, age 63, died Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Laurel was born in Flint, July 28, 1958, the daughter of James E. and Luella M (Duso) Harris.  She was a graduate of Northern High School and retired after more than 30 years with General Motors.  She married Dan Prieur, January 26, 2004.  They had been together for 32 years, married for 17.  She was a spiritual woman who loved her animals, and most of all loved her grandchildren.  Surviving are:  husband Dan Prieur;  children, Sarah M. Harris, Pietra Prieur, Daniel Prieur, and Andrea Prieur;  grandchildren, Jacob Prieur, Adam Wambold, Elijah Williams, Lilliana Nance, and Gracelyn Nance; siblings, Timothy Harris, Delena (Dolly) Harris, Leila (Bubby) Harris, and Bryan Harris; several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Harris.
