NEFF, Kimberly Sue, of Flint, age 59, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 after a lengthly series of illnesses. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Court Street United Methodist Church, Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating. Cremation will follow. Kim will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 1:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, and at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Court St. United Methodist Church. Kim was born in Flint, October 23, 1956, the daughter of Donald and Mary Ellen (Wright) Friend. She was very active in her church, teaching Sunday school, serving on various committees, being a wedding coordinator, and as a kitchen coordinator. She loved spending her time taking care of children. A loving wife and mother she will be remembered and cherished always. Surviving are: husband of 29 years, Richard Neff; son, Alex Neff; mother-in-law, June; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; godchildren; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
