MORGAN, Kenneth Jeffery, known to family and friends as "Jeff," a longtime resident of Flint, Michigan (although he spent a period of his life in Leslie County, Kentucky, where he always felt a deep sense of home and connection to his ancestral roots), age 50, passed away, Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in Flint Township.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home. Jeff will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith funeral home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where family will receive friends 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
Jeff was born November 29, 1975 in Flint, Michigan
Jeff loved the country lifestyle and enjoyed helping others whenever he could. He was known as a skilled mechanic with a true heart of gold. Jeff genuinely loved people and found purpose in lending a helping hand to those in need. Above all else, he loved his children. Being their father was his greatest joy and most important purpose in life.
Jeff is survived by his children: Noah Morgan of Mt. Morris, Michigan; Dawson (Hannah) Morgan of Swartz Creek, Michigan; Dylan Morgan of Swartz Creek, Michigan; and Alexis Morgan of Swartz Creek, Michigan. Jeff loved all of his children dearly, and he shared a uniquely special bond with his only daughter, Alexis, that will forever be cherished. He is also survived by his father, Kenneth (Karen) Morgan of Fort Myers, Florida; his sisters, Mary Morgan, Caitlin Morgan, and Malisa Morgan; his brother, Jason Morgan; his step-brother, Brian Lokken; anda loving grandma, Eva Morgan. Jeff was a proud grandfather to his special grandson, Dexter Morgan, son of Dawson and Hannah Morgan. He also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Jeff was truly loved by all who knew him, and his kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others will be remembered always.
Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Chrissy Morgan; his special grandmother, Pauline "Lithy" Gulicuc; his special aunt, Sue Hubbard; his great-uncle, Denver Morgan; and his amazing grandfather, Bailey Morgan
Jeff's memory will live on through the many lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the love he freely shared with all who knew him.
