BURT, Kenneth Elwin, of Flint, age 81, died Monday, October 2, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.  Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends during a time of reflection 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township.  Mr. Burt was born in Muskegon, June 12, 1942, the son of William and Gladys (Blanchard) Burt.  He retired from General Motors.  Ken loved golfing, camping, cooking, boating, and fishing.  He loved to entertain family and friends and was a master at telling jokes.  Wherever he went multiple people who knew him would stop him to say hello.  He truly listened to friends and family and loved knowing what was going on in their lives.  He loved to have FUN, and he made everything FUN.  Surviving are:  children, Steven Burt, Scott (Chris) Burt, Shelley (Don) Parker, and Melissa (Tim Donaven) Roy; grandchildren, Timothy (Erika) Sunday, Lee Bunker, Kenny (Mollie) Burt, and Jennifer (Skye) Sawyer; great grandchildren, Katelyn Sawyer, Adelyn Sawyer, Bentley Burt, Brayden Burt, Brinley Burt, and Olivia Bunker; brother, Ron (Candy) Burt.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jerry Burt.
