HAGAN, Karoll Lynne, of Mt. Morris, age 74, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 7PM Friday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Chaplain Jerry Larkin officiating. Cremation will follow. Family will receive friends from 3PM until the time of service at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township. Karoll was born February 21, 1943 in Flint, the daughter of Harold and Etta Mae (Kolhoff) Rothermel. She retired from General Motors. Karoll was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, and aunt. She has a strong and abiding faith and spoke about the good Lord with everyone she came across. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Karla Grant of Flint, Karrie Vessey, and Kelly Maskmouski both of Arizona; 2 sons, John Vessey of California and Leslee Hagan of Michigan; grandchildren, Corey Chapman, Kara Vessey, and Matthew Vessey, all of Arizona, Johnathon Chapman of Colorado, Danielle Tweedy, and Tiffany Calhoun, both of Michigan, Dana Vessey, and Justin Vessey, both of California; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslee Hagan, parents Etta and Harold Rothermel, son Richard Bennett, and sister Judith Harvey.
