Karen Sue (Spangler) Wolf, age 78, of Flushing, passed away peacefully, August 1, 2026, at McLaren Flint Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Karen was born July 15, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. She held various jobs throughout her life, but her greatest and most cherished role was being the mother of Beth, Kelly, and Greg. She treasured her family above all else and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved. The memories she created and the lasting impact she had on her family and friends will be forever cherished.
Karen especially loved her friends and neighbors at Elmcrest Village, where she found a wonderful sense of community and companionship. She also looked forward to her family reunion, held every other year, proudly carrying on the tradition of her late father, Max. Being surrounded by family brought her immense joy and was one of the highlights of her life.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Gelean; her daughter, Kelly; her husband, Bill; and her sister, Cheryl.
She is survived by her loving children, Beth and Greg (Tracey); her brother, Ron (Karen); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, Ryan, Gabrielle, Grace, and Jacob; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A special thank you to her caregiver, Jenn, for the exceptional care, compassion, and support she provided to Karen. Her kindness and dedication meant so much to Karen and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Brick Street of Grand Blanc, 1223 E. Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439.
The family welcomes all who knew Karen to join them in celebrating her life, sharing memories, and enjoying a meal together as they remember the love, kindness, and joy she brought to so many.
