CUSENZA, Joseph Paul, of West Branch, age 83, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Flint Park. Mr. Cusenza will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call from 10AM until the time of service Friday. Joseph was born in Flint, June 16, 1932, the son of Paul and Josephine Cusenza. He was the founder and owner of the How Sweet It Is Fudge and Candy Company. Surviving are: wife, Patricia Anne Cuzenza; children, Joseph (Connie) Cusenza II, Candace Cusenza, Leonard (Beth) Cusenza, and Daniel (Angela) Cusenza; grandchildren, Crystal Hunt, Ally Bishop,and Joseph Cusenza III; great grandchildren, Joseph Cusenza IV, and Joshua Cusenza.
