POST , John IV, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Owosso, age 61, peacefully passed away into the Lord's arms November 15, 2024 at his childhood residence. John was born August 5, 1963 In Durand, Michigan, the son of John and Sharon (Crawford) Post.  John graduated from Durand High School in 1981 and enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching football and visiting with family and friends. He was a hard worker who genuinely cared for his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Post; brother, Matt Post and wife Shana; former wife, Arleen Briseno; son, John Anthony Post and wife Maria; daughter, Me'Chelle (Post) Valasquez and husband Oscar; nephew, Daniel Post and wife Barbara; several grandchildren, great Nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Post, and father, John Post III. A service will be held to celebrate his life in the Spring of 2025.
