GILLEN, John Joseph, of Flint, age 67, died Monday, March 6, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.  John will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may call 12 Noon – 8:00 PM Thursday, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service Friday.  John was born in Flint, October 25, 1955, the son of Charles and Mary Ann (Horton) Gillen.  Surviving are: his children, Terri Funch,
John Gillen, Jr., Lisa Brewer, Danielle Wagner, and Cameron Tietz;
several grandkids and great grandkids; sister, Judy (Phil) Gean.
