DEMSKI, John Vaughn, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Flint, age 51, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at McLaren Port Huron. Mr. Demski will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may visit 11AM-8PM Thursday. John was born in Flint, Michigan, January 9, 1966. Soon after his graduation from high school he enlisted in the US Army from which he was honorably discharged. John was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. John loved being a father, big brother, and uncle. He also took pride in his home improvement business. John leaves to cherish his memory: children, Jarret (Adriena), Joshua (Sam), Travis, Anthony, Tyler, and Enrique; grandchildren, Mollie Marie, Maxin Dean, Rylee Lynn Marie, Brooklyn, and Willow; mother, Bernadette Keyes; sister, Angelita Hambrick; brother, Armand Christensen; a host of special nieces,nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Christensen, son, Johnathan Demski, niece, Mauricia Christensen, uncle, Vaughn Eller, and nephew, Jordan Kyles. The Demski family would like to extend their special thanks to Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pamela Demski, Irma Demski, Robert Montague, best friend Mike, and to each and every one who donated time and money to our loved one.
