BOWEN, John Lee, of Genesee Township, age 76, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his residence.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Clio Assembly of God, 305 New Street, Clio, Pastor Garrett Starr officiating.  John was born September 29, 1945 in Flint, the son of John Clifford and Ernestine Mae (Stewart) Bowen.  He retired from General Motors after more than 25 years of service.  Surviving are:  wife, Judith Bowen; children, John Lee (Jennifer) Bowen, Jr., Jeffery (Karrie) Bowen and Judy Bowen; step daughter, Cindy Parkin; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; father, John Clifford (Shirley) Bowen; siblings, Gene Bowen, Randy Bowen, Diane Donajkowski, and Dennis Bowen;  several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine, and son Scott.
