Garza, Jesus Pedro "Jesse", age 47, of Flint Township, Michigan, died Sunday, March 28, 2021 after a long battle with illness. A bi-lingual memorial mass will take place 11:00 A.M.,  April 6, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Rd, Flint, Michigan. The family requests that attendees wear bright "happy" colors, no black, as this is a celebration that Jesse is with the Lord, and no longer suffering. Masks are required please. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be accepted. Jesse is no longer in pain and finally at peace. He enjoyed Detroit Tigers baseball, Lions football, flea market bargain hunting, trips up-north to the Au Sable, mexican music and dancing, family time, and karaoke (back in the day). His smart mouth was always good for a laugh. He will be missed.  He is survived by his mother,Nelda Martinez; daughters, Anastasia and Reina Garza; life partner Amy Wohn; her children, Alyssa and Jamie Wohn; and granddaughter Cora "Peanut" Kolkema, and the Pratt and Shields clans.  He is also survived by stepmother, Bonnie Sapienza; brother, Bill Vickory; and sister Monica Diederich, and their families. Also survived by countless aunts and uncles including Bev and Ken Bonar and their sons Paul and Steve, Robert Hough and daughters, Carly and Isabella, cousins, and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Pedro Garza.   The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mclaren Hospital, and Heritage Manor for their service in these tough times.
