TAUBITZ, Janet Charmaine, of Flushing, age 81, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at McLaren Flint.  Cremation has taken place.  Contributions in Janet's memory may be made to Pet Angel Adoptions, Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Janet was born in Flint, November 19, 1937.  She graduated from Baker Business College and the FBI National Academy. Janet had a long career as a legal secretary.  She worked at the Genesee County Prosecutors office under Jerome F. O'Rourke, and later for for attorney Reese Stipes. She served as recording secretary for N.A.M.I.  She retired as a secretary at G.M.S.P.O.  Janet was an active member of the Flushing Senior Center.  She very much loved her feline companions Molly and Sarah.  Surviving are:  daughter, Cheryl Taubitz and special friend Jeff Welsch.
