TEEPLE, James R., of Flint, age 79, died Friday, July 7, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.  Cremation has taken place. Final Interment will occur 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery.   James was born in Flint, Michigan July 25, 1943.  He worked as a truck driver at Yellow Freight System and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He served in the United States Army.  He was a member of Grand Blanc Lodge F&AM and Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple. Surviving are:  daughters, Lily (Bryan) Smith and Holly Teeple; grandkids, Danielle, Derek, Shawn, Dustin (Kelsey), and Austin (Lauren); great grandkids,  Andrew, Izzabella, Brantley, Raina, Manuel, Liam, Briella, Josiah, and Jaden; siblings, Bill and Mary Henderson;   He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Alma Marie Teeple, special loved one, Lillian Teeple; daughter, Lisa Clark, brothers, Howard Teeple II, and Jack Teeple.  Special thanks to all the 3rd floor Ascension Genesys Nurses.
