MacDONALD, Jacob Allen, of Flint, age 25, went to be with the Lord suddenly, Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Funeral services will be held 5 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Nathan Whipple officiating. Cremation will follow. Mr. MacDonald will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 11AM-5PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to an education fund for Jacob's children, in care of Rosemary Runenapp. Jacob was born December 4, 1991, in Rochester, Michigan. Jacob lit up a room with his smile and his laugh (that sometimes resembled a giggle). He had a huge heart and he freely shared hugs that were just as huge. He was a proud and loving daddy to Elizabeth and baby Jacob. Surviving are: mother, Grace Davis; wife, Destinee MacDonald; two children, Elizabeth and Jacob; brother, Joshua Davis; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins; many dear friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Carl and Martha MacDonald, special uncles Harry Bitel and Edward Kelly.
