FROST, Irene M., of Flint Township, age 85, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Rob Prince officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Frost will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 10AM-8 PM Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. Frost was born in Flint, Michigan, January 2, 1932. She loved to play bingo and go out to eat with family and loved vacations with family. She loved animals and being outdoors and at the group home she loved to play cards. She loved having her grandkids come to visit and had many friends and she always had a kind word and a smile. SHe always tried to help everyone she could.She loved cooking and baking. Surviving are: son, Jerry Brooks;   daughter, Christine of Flint Township; grandchildren, Amber, Travis, Joe, and Mary Mae; 2 sisters, Evelyn Palka and Judy (Bill) Walton; brother, Bill Palka; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Frost, son-in-law Joe Scanlon, sister and brother-in-law, Lydia and Rufus Berkey, and sister and brother-in-law, Angeline and Bernard Abromitis.
