RAPPLEY, Harold Curtis, of Ithaca, formerly of Flint Township, age 79, died Thursday, July 16, 2020 at North Star AFC in Ithaca.  Cremation has taken place.  Harold was born June 10, 1941 in Burton, Michigan, the son of Glenn Edward and Alice Marie (Miller) Rappley.  He lived in Flint his entire life working as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed restoring old cars and you could comb your hair in the reflections from his paint work.  He loved playing the guitar and singing.  He is survived by his children, Randee (Sam) Pepitone, Tonya (Craig) Smeby, Scott (Veronica) Johnson, and Sheila (Douglas) Sweatland;  daughters-in-law, Casandra Johnson and Cynthia Johnson; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his sons, Jerry Johnson and Kevin Johnson.  The family extends a special thanks to the North Star AFC staff.
