KNOFF, Gloria Jean, of Flint, age 71, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at McLaren Flint Hospital.  Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Final entombment will be at Flint Memorial Park.  There will be no services.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee  38105. Gloria was born in Saginaw, Michigan July 15, 1950, the daughter of Matias and Joan (Bueche) Palacio.  Gloria worked at a government facility where she sewed zippers in garments for the military for 5 years.  She was a member of Sanctuary Church, Swartz Creek.  She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, gardening, canning, knitting, crocheting, drawing, and painting.  Gloria loved to share and give to others.  She loved to help others in need.  Gloria had a special inner strength in addition to being imaginative, playful, and innocent of heart.  She is survived by her sisters, Linda Swartwood, Mary Samson, Helen Gurden, and Ruth Palacio; former husband, Daniel Knoff; and sisters-in-law, Claudia Sandson and Lisa Allen.  Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, brother Francisco Palacio, and brother-in-law Dean L. Swartwood.
