BURT, Georgianna, of Clio, age 79, died Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Maple Woods Manor.  Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends during a time of reflection 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township.  Georgianna was born in Flint, May 20, 1945.  She retired from The Flint Journal.  Everybody loved Georgianna and she would give her last dollar to friends and family if they needed it.

Surviving are:  children, Steven Burt, Scott (Chris) Burt, and Shelley (Don) Parker; grandchildren, Timothy (Erika) Sunday, Lee Bunker, Kenny (Mollie) Burt, and Jennifer (Skye) Sawyer; great grandchildren, Katelyn Sawyer, Adelyn Sawyer, Bentley Burt, Brayden Burt, Brinley Burt, Olivia Bunker, and Dean Sunday; brother, James Lansing; and sister, Lilly Snider.  She is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Lansing, and a sister, Rose Gower.
