HORNE, George Vincent., of Clio, age 72, died Wednesday, October 18, 2022 at McLaren Flint.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Sarah LaRose Nettell officiating.  Burial will occur 3:00 PM Thursday at Hillside Cemetery, Entrican, Michigan.  Mr. Horne will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit Noon – 8:00 PM Monday.  Mr. Horne was born in Flint, December 30, 1950, the son of Edward and Frances (Keeley) Horne.  He had lived in the Flint area his entire life.  Surviving are:  brothers, Jim, Jerry, and Michael Horne; sisters, Marita Maniak, Theresa Belanger, Mary Kaza, Katie Sunday, and Jeanine Pierce; many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Don, David, and Dick, and sister Louise.  Special thanks to his brother-in-law Chuck Hounam, and to the staff at Bentley Manor.
