THICK, Gale Eletris (Gwinn), of Burton, age 63, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Paul Emory officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Gale will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 11AM until the time of service Saturday.  Gale was born September 5, 1954 in Hinton, West Virginia, the daughter of Harley C. and Sadie (Moody) Gwinn, Sr..  She lived most of her life in Flint where she graduated high school.  She married John Michael Thick in August, 1985.  He preceded her in death.  Surviving are:  son, Nicholas Thick and girlfriend Jessica Stacy;  grandchildren, Kaleb Thick, Mason Thick, and Jasmine Avilu of Mount Morris; sisters, Doreen (Richard) Ex of Durand, and  Rita (Roger) Chinevere of Burton; brothers, Harley C. Gwinn, Jr. of Flint, Bruce (Delores) Gwinn of Burton, James (Stephanie) Gwinn of West Virginia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Trina Johnson, brother-in-law Louis Johnson, and niece Sarah Gwinn Martin.
