NATZKE, Elizabeth Joan, of Lapeer, formerly of Flushing, age 93, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at home. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery.  Friends may visit 3:00-8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.  Elizabeth was born in Owosso, Michigan, October 9, 1930, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Doane) Eva.  She married William Joseph Natzke October 16, 1954 in Flint.   She was a past president of the Genesee County Foster Care Association.  Surviving are:  son, William (Sandra) Natzke, Jr.; grandchildren, Thomas (Stephanie) Natzke, Joshua (Christi) Natzke, Kalyn (Brandon) Murphy, Kristy (Walt) Williams, Sara (Scott) Duckert and Gina (Bill) Woodman; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many foster children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William Joseph Natzke, in 2021.
